Price which comes up at the till is different from the advertised price? - pos advertising
Today, at work, I got through items at £ 5.99, customers behind the OP, who said £ 2.99, they were. I asked a supervisor to determine who should be charged at £ 5.99, but they told me to put on the lowest price, after the customer said that he had done against the law.
I ask because I'm sure you remember the case study shows that a sale is an invitation to treat and not as a promise, and not such as to reduce the price.
I wonder whether the client is entitled, and is against the law to charge the higher price, or if it is an invitation to treat?
